2013 - Weeks 16 - 19 Photo 'n Prayer Review

WEEK 16

Taller CDP Tradeschool begins a new project: paper-bead jewelry

Taller CDP T-shirt scarf winners Ana Melissa and Carlos

The Ranch's trade school, Taller de Conocimiento, Desarollo y Prosperidad (Knowledge, Growth & Prosperity Workshop) has been a wonderful new tool of ministry at the Ranch. Not only have we been able to foster talents in the local youth, but to encourage them in their walk with Jesus. PRAY for these young adults to love Christ and serve Him through the workshops.

Wednesday's boys Bible study

WEEK 18

Geovany learns to roll paper-beads during the craft workshop.

Lucinda looks over her notes in Romans and Tania
laughs during Youth Group Bible Study.
The teens have been full of questions and observations as we work our way through the New Testament. So far we have read Luke, Acts and Romans. Tania has taken specific interest in questions related to the Catholic church, Evangelicals and the Bible. PRAY for discernment for these young people.

Mare loves her raised bed garden produce!

WEEK 19

Yahaira, Ana Melissa and Carlos focus on new styles of paper-beads

Isly assists Marillyn, Keyla and Dunia
during cooking class with cutting mangoes!

Tabitha & Naomi pick the Ranch's mora berries (blackberries).

Nexser weeds the carrot bed in the agriculture class.
Oscar recently shared with me a wonderful compliment from the community. A well respected Christian man in the community commented that he really likes how we are working with the youth. He said that the skills that the youth are learning will make a difference for a lifetime! "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime!" PRAY for these youth to grow in grace and knowledge!

On Oscar's property, Juan and Gerson prepare the field
to transplant the onions during their agriculture class.

Basket O'Felines

Oscar's wife, Marilyn (in yellow shirt) has begun to assist Lucinda
with the little girls during Friday's girl's Bible study

Fridays Ilsy teaches through the Word with the older girls.

We have recently finished a new believers curriculum,
so Jon has Ilsy using her Bible's concordance to pick out "girl appropriate" themes.
PRAY for Ilsy to grow in her knowledge of God's Word, for power in the teaching & application of the Word and for strength as a single mother.

We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God. He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.
2 Corinthians 3:4-6

In the first place, auto title advances might be viewed as a secured advance since it requires a vow. In getting such advances, a borrower is required to give the title of his or her auto as guarantee.
