July 2016
PRAISE: CC Santee were ideal for a short-term missions teams. Hard workers, fellowship lovers and willing to serve.
View photos of their week of ministry here on our Facebook page.

Gracias!!!

One of the highlights for the Santee team was their help leading small groups for the RO4Y workers.
One for the guys & one for the gals! The Word was so encouraging to us all!

Roof ready!
Major progress made on the "Casa de Apoyo" or ministry partner's housing.

Feliz cumpleanos, Melody y Oscar!!!
PRAISE for our ministry partners.
PRAY for God to draw more to come along side us at the Ranch.

Take a closer look! See the videographer? We hosted Melissa for over a week.
She's putting together a professional promo video together for the Ranch!
Awesome! Mil gracias!

Melody's final girls' Bible study before furlough!

Mango Madness came a little later this year, but just as sweet as ever!

August
Our Mini-Furlough in the USA

Marillyn and I had a whirlwind trip to the States, as we visited three of our supporting churches.
It was a great time of fellowship, as well as a refreshing time for our marriage.
A "baby-moon" before "Cinco" is born!

Enjoy our latest video summary of ministry leading up to our furlough!

Jon teaches the Freedom Fellowship Youth Group of Kaukauna, WI.
His text was from Zechariah chapter 4.

Our table sales were blessed. This shot from Calvary Chapel Morgantown, WV.
Thanks everyone for supporting the students of Taller CDP! Check out the Etsy store if you weren't able to buy in person: Las Aguas Verdes
Christmas is just around the corner!!!

Enjoying some R & R in Put-in-Bay on Lake Erie, Ohio, a few waves from Canada!

The kids didn't miss us a beat, as they enjoyed their Nina and Papi for 3 weeks!
Wayne & Brooke Goranson, Marillyn's parents and active RO4Y ministry partners.

R.I.P Daisy: after a freak off-property accident,
the family had to put her down in our absence.
She lived a long, blessed life as a four-legged member of the Beard family.

Wayne continued the work on CDA in our absence.
Gracias, Wayne!

September
Return & Refocus on Family & Ministry in Honduras.

Enjoying a Sunday lunch together! It was good to be reunited!

September 15th festivities in Ojojona!
Honduras celebrates its independence from Spain in 1821.

Jump Catracho, jump!

Happy Birthday Tabitha (8) & Naomi (10)!!!

1st day of classes!
Naomi 4th grade; Tabitha 2nd grade.

Tobias Kindergarten and Poema Pre-Kinder

PRAY for Lucinda as she takes on the responsibility of teaching ALL the Beard kids this year!!!

PRAISE: After 2 years of praying and waiting,
the 15-passenger van is registered and with plates!!!
PRAY! We were unfortunately hit with some unexpected fees and fines during the customs process which drained our savings. If you are lead, any gifts would be a blessing as we desire to continue work on our new staff house! We know the Lord will provide!

Wanderlust: a few weeks after our return our only remaining Dane, Mordecai, ran off!!!
Bittersweet with this "dumb mutt"!

Melody is back and eager to work with the animals! PTL!
She also was recently engaged!!!
PRAY for Marillyn and Melody as they began a search for some "retiring" horses at local barns. They want horses that would be great with children and to help spread the Gospel through our equestrian program aspirations!

CDA is with a roof before the heavy rains hit! PTL!
The funds to build have "dried up" after our crazy van importation expenses, so PRAY for a financial "downpour"!!!

One of my various mtb rides.
We live in a beautiful community!

Thank you always for your prayers, words of encouragement and support!!!

We are excited for this new season of ministry
and look forward to how the Lord will tie our hearts together in service for His Kingdom!!!
