RO4Y Staff /Ministry Partner Application

Thank you for taking the time to read and pray over the following questions. One of our biggest needs at the Ranch is help and we are excited that you are considering partnering with us in Honduras.
Let us seek the Lord's direction together.

Please complete the questions, including references, and e-mail them to

  1. Tell us your testimony: Who you were before Christ? What brought you to place your faith in Christ? What has God been doing since your conversion and currently?

  2. How are you serving Christ now? Give specific examples.

  3. Read Galatians 5:22-23 then describe examples of how these Godly traits are exemplified in your life currently.

  4. What do you fear about joining the mission field? Please be specific. How do you plan to counter this fear?

  5. Is there anything that you can’t or refuse to do while serving at RO4Y? Explain.

  6. Satan’s attacks increase in the mission field: isolation, loneliness, discouragement, depression, jealousies, self-righteousness/superiority, lust, distractions, and conflict, to name a few. Are you prepared to battle these struggles? How?

  7. Who has been the most influential person in your spiritual life? Describe their influence.

  8. Jesus’ commandment was to not only “GO!”, but “to make disciples of all nations”. How are you personally a disciple? How are you actively making disciples today? How do you want to make disciples while serving at Rancho Oasis for Youth?

  13. When asked by a Honduran person for money, what will your response be?

  14. Describe your experience in 3rd world countries.

  15. What do you expect the Lord to do with you, in you, and through you as you serve at RO4Y?

  16. How much time do you desire to commit to service at RO4Y? (3 Month trial period for all).
  1. Statement of Faith, taken from our home church Chalvary Chapel Des Moines. – Do you agree? If not, explain. 
  2. Are you prepared to raise your own support and minimal room & board to stay at Ranch Oasis? (Cost varies depending on situation).
  3. Staying longer then 3 months in Honduras requires the proper visa. Are you prepared to gather all the correct documentation in your home country and Honduras and pay the government and lawyers fees? (Cost varies depending on situation).
  4. Are you currently taking any prescription medications for long-term health issues? If so, would you be willing to share with us what they are?
  5. Are you at least 18 years old? (Or will be 18 when you serve with us in Honduras.) Unfortunately, Rancho Oasis is not able to take interns that are not legally responsible for themselves.
