2014 - Weeks 5 - 7 Photo 'n Prayer Review

WEEK 5

Re-purposing old magazines has developed a whole line of beautiful,
paper-bead jewelry from the artisan craft students.

PRAY for the students to be faithful to read their Bible lessons & prepare their assignments.

Remember all those adobe bricks made last summer?
With a little help from Juan and Tobias, they made it from Oscar's place to the new property.

PRAY for the short-term missions teams schedule for this season of ministry:
we have a team scheduled for February, March, May (family), June (tentative) and July.

The U-12 team's first of two semi-final matches.
The boys won with a total score of 2 - 1 and birthed a spot in the final for the second year in a row!

WEEK 6

When life hands you roosters (ones that crow in the early hours of the morning),
you make soup! Chicken soup!

PRAISE for the help of faithful RO4Y supporters like Marillyn's parents,
Wayne & Brooke Goranson. (Pastor / Missionary / Rooster-slayer)

 especially that Poema would warm-up quickly.

The U-12 boys lost the final match of two: 3 - 2.
(Not to shabby for a squad without substitutes!)

Tobias decided to play king of the hill by himself at the local hardware store... he won, of course!

PRAY for all of the RO4Y animals:
that they would serve their purpose for the ministry, be healthy and be a blessing.

PRAY for Oscar to continue to develop the heart, skills and disciplines of a pastor.

Long-time friends from Unashamed Missions visit and purchase jewelry from the trade school students.
Cynthia and Jack, pictured above, will be leading a family team of ~30 people to the Ranch in late June!

Never loosing focus on our goal to know Jesus, Oscar encourages the boys from the book of Proverbs.

The U-12 boys take second place for the second year in a row!
A hard fought second game ended in a 2 -2 tie, but we lost the championship on a cumulative score of 5 - 4

PRAISE for success with this year's tournament.
Many boys matured in their character and grew in their understanding of Scripture.
PRAY for Oscar and Jon as we continue to work with the boys in the off season.

WEEK 7
